Good morning one and all and welcome to the latest installment of Accessories to Murder. Now, as you may have noticed Accessories to Murder is not a weekly feature, more of an ‘as and when’ piece for when knockout accessories capture my short attention span, or when Jo sends me a link to something so desirably foxy that I reward her with a gold star for sending me all quixotic. Anyway, you are in luck as this week there are umpteen enticing accessories that I would like to share with you!
Now, we all know and love the amazing Lulu lip and eye purses (they are on both of our Christmas lists!) but I feel we have all neglected poor old kooky cat! It has a slight Halloween feel to it, so there’s no excuse not to use it to store all of your trick or treating goodies in. It has the all important inside pocket and there’s even a kooky card holder to match.
Chartreuse is the new black. I LOVE satchels as you can wear them for work, play, with any outfit and they always look winsome. Topshop currently have a big bundle of gnarly satchels from leopard print to 70’s leather and I want them all, but I am more than happy to start with this one please Santa!
Although this isn’t a satchel and I don’t have an iPad, I’d still quite like one of these nifty cases. I’m sure I could find a use for it. Perhaps I could use it to keep my collection of pasta sheets warm throughout winter, or, y’know, I could give it to a friend. Fairisle is the new animal print don’t cha know!
If you are anything like me and the mere thought of stepping outside on a chilly morning makes you want to hide under the covers, you best get your frosty paws on a Nessie scarf from Accessorize, because tartan is freaking feverish right now.
Zebra’s are really cool. They are definitely in my Top 5 stripy animals. This means that I will undoubtedly think that any clothing featuring an zebra is ace and if I see you wearing a whimsical zebra in any configuration, I will want to be your friend and will make you an honorary member of #teamzebra. George are excelling at the moment with a wonderful winter range. I’ve been trying to think of some zebra puns for about an hour now, but I just don’t have the koalafications. It’s the closest I could do, sorry!
I’m a pretty straight-laced girl and have been looking for some simple but lovely black shoes for a while, but I just could knot find any, it was quite the feet! Luckily nifty Next have come to my rescue and these block heeled beauties are low enough for work yet glossy enough to wear to a post work festive event. Stiletto me know what you think of them!
Until next time I tip my imaginary hat to you,
