THE WHITEPEPPER x She and Hem

Painted Paw Dress | The Whitepepper | She and Hem

Thanks to their love of super fun vintage inspired fashion, we are always excited when a new THE WHITEPEPPER lookbook drops into our inbox. As two girls who love to play dress-up, the ‘Peek A Boo I See You’ collection for AW15 was always going to be right up our street! Taking influence from childhood days, this collection is all about the fun factor with a whimsical approach that successfully mixes childish influences (think dolls, playgrounds, and a sprinkling of Kawaii) with fashion for proper grownups, that’s us!….sadly. Stupid adulthood.

Naturally we couldn’t wait to get our hands on the Painted Paw shift dress, which thankfully comes in both pink and grey. We do love a bit of matchy matchy! We are not alone in our love for quirk, as so many people have admired those beautifully manicured embroidery hands. We’ve really been (White)peppered with compliments. A hands-down hit on the dress front, for sure! These dresses are so easy to dress up or down, as you can wear pretty much anything underneath the versatile sleeveless round neck design.

We’ve been styling them with winter jumpers and thick woolly tights as, we don’t know if you’ve noticed, but it’s quite cold out there. I (Victoria) went for the the Painted Paw shift dress in grey* and wore it with white tights from M&S, a belt from Next and the glitzy Audbrey Bow Flats* from Boden. Jo chose the Painted Paw shift dress in pink* and the incredible Half Face Bag in black*. She accessorized with a white blouse with bow detail from Zara, white tights from Topshop and the Round Heel Ankle Boots* which are also from THE WHITEPEPPER. Twinning is winning!
