Hello hello! Welcome back to Double Thumbs Dresses and a very happy Easter to you all! It’s time once again for our frocktacular roundup of the dresses deemed worthy of the highly coveted Double Thumbs seal of approval….
First up we have two gorgeous tea dresses from Dickins & Jones at House of Fraser, who for me are totally hitting it out of the park when it comes to vintage inspired fashion! The first frock features a stunning yellow sunflower print that will certainty turn heads! I just love the little v-neck detail and the nipped in waste will make it super flattering and easy to wear. The second is such a cute little dress with a candy stripe print, rounded collar and little buttons to fasten it up at the back. It also has a lovely bow belt! Both dresses would make the perfect additions to any spring/summer wardrobe and I fear both are destined to be mine!

Hold the phone, this beautiful seaside print dress is a supermarket bargain! How gorgeous is that print? The colours are simply fabulous and I cannot believe that it’s only £20. My size is currently out of stock on the website (sob) so I will be elbowing my way around my nearest ASDA until I find one!

And after all that elbowing what better way to celebrate than with a cocktail? I feel this fifties style sundress from Emily and Fin would be just the ticket! It’s so much fun! I adore the red and blues together and it’s such a fab summer print. Mojito, anyone?

I full on gasped when I saw this stunning ASOS dress. That’s how much I love it! It’s like the vintage dress of my dreams and I just want to wear it everywhere with some massive hair and some equally massive sunglasses. Gimmie.

This THE WHITEPEPPER smock dress is pretty dino-mite, amiright? It’s such an adorable print and the playful childlike design works perfectly with the shape of the dress. I want to swoosh around in it! I also really love the blue underlayer which really makes the dress standout.

Last but not least we have these two wonderful frocks from Sugarhill Boutique, who always know the way to my novelty print loving heart! Elephants and bunting you say? Sure, why not. Fab and rocket ice lollies? Consider it done! Both prints are totally delightful but I would expect nothing less from the masters of the playful print.
