December has finally arrived and with it the perfect excuse to dress up all fancy every day of the week! Christmas time is party time afterall! Pass us a mince pie and some mulled wine, will you?
We do love a reason to glam up and decided to break out our new festive dresses from the Yumi partywear collection* yesterday for a vintage filled day of fun at the Heartfelt Vintage shop in Bristol. After being completely transformed by Able Mabel who did an incredible job on our hair and Evie Smith who truly made us look the part, we felt ready to hit the dance floor!
Jo: I layered my beautiful silver Floral Prom Dress* over a super sparkly sequin top from New Look. I thought it added some extra pizzazz (you can never have too much pizzazz) and as I don’t like things to be too low cut, it protected my modesty. I added a black belt from ASOS, white tights from Topshop and some super sparkly high heels from Primark.
Victoria: My sleeveless Wallpaper Print Dress* is party perfect! I’m not usually a big fan of red dresses, but I was drawn to the shirt collar and easy to wear shape. I teamed it with black striped tights from Marks and Spencer, silver brogues from Next and a gorgeous black vintage bag from Heartfelt Vintage in Bristol.
In the evening we went to the fireworks which were put on to celebrate 150 years of the Clifton Suspension Bridge. Don’t they look incredible?! I know we’ve said it before but we sure do love Bristol.
We’ll be posting more about our day at Heartfelt later in the week!
