A few weeks ago we were lucky enough to attend a special bloggers event at The Mall Cribbs Causeway, to celebrate the start of Bristol Fashion Week.
Spread over five days, Bristol Fashion Week for the Autumn/Winter season showcases all the latest fashion wares from big boy brands such as River Island, Marks and Spencers, Next, Fat Face and John Lewis.
Having never attended a fashion show, I wasn’t expecting the abundance of choreography and pizzazz on display. Having only really thought of the runway as a place for serious model face, it was a breath of fresh air to see the models having a good time. The children were especially good fun and the M&S ballerina was my highlight of the evening. The only thing I didn’t particularly like were the hosts, Mark Heyes and Andrew Barton, who we both found a little too scripted and cheesy. Having read other blog posts, we do seem to be in the minority on this. Perhaps we are simply accustomed to being the cheesiest people in the room. Stop stealing our thing, Mark and Andrew.
