Hello hello! Welcome back to Double Thumbs Dresses, our roundup of the frocks we have deemed worthy of the highly coveted double thumbs seal of approval! Let’s crack on….

I don’t usually appear on Double Thumbs but seeing as this dress has since disappeared from the Sainsbury’s website I was left with little choice as I couldn’t not feature the stripey supermarket stunner that has stolen my heart! If you live near a Sainsbury’s that stocks TU then you may be able to get your hands on this little beaut. If not, I thought this little deckchair inspired number from Fever was a more than adequate substitute. Gotta love a candy stripe!

I love these two summery prints from Seasalt. The vintage inspired shell number is perfect seaside attire and I really like the nice simple shape – plus it has pockets! Win. I am also totally obsessed with the beach umbrella print, that’s one packed beach! It’s all so lovely and fun – perfect for the warmer weather. Even in the rain we must parasol-dier on.

Who doesn’t love a cherry on top of their frock? This fruity number from Lady V is a real delight. I’ve been a fan of their 1950s inspired dresses for many a year now but this is my favourite print for some time. The neckline is super cute!

The princess inside of me desperately wants to prance about in this Chi Chi dress. It’s tulley scrumptious! Look at that frill waist! The whole thing is outrageously pretty and if you invite me to your wedding, I will turn up in this.

OK so this ASOS ruffle dress looks a little short but I think you all know me well enough by now to know that I’m always going to be a total sucker for a massive bow, not that she’s bothered to tie it properly. FOR SHAME, MODEL.

Speaking of big bows, this Lindy Bop dress has a rather splendid yellow one on display. How gorgeous is that Venice print? The whole thing is just smashing! Some extra good news is that Aspire Style who stock this dress are still offering our readers a 10% discount if you enter the code ‘sheandhem’ as you check out. You are welcome!

Last but not least we have this lovely sixties yellow number from Boden. I love the classic shift shape but it’s that knockout geometric print that really makes this one special. I really love the contrasting white and yellow – good work, everyone.
