Hello frock fans and welcome back to Double Thumbs Dresses. It’s time once again to take a gander at the dresses we have deemed worthy of the highly coveted Double Thumbs seal of approval. Let’s crack on!

Channel your inner silver screen star with this TV print dress from Lindy Bop. The print is just totally fabulous and the shape and style gets a rave review from me. It all looks lovely set against the dreamy mint colour and the black detailing contrasts fabulously. I think the chances of me not buying this dress are pretty remote.

Sticking with Lindy Bop, who you might say have switched things up a gear, we have this wheely rather lovely red and blue bicycle print number! Who doesn’t love a flattering v-neck eh? and that wide flared skirt is the stuff of my dreams!

If you can look past the beret and the camera (I need both stat) you will see that this super pretty dress from Miss Patina is covered in instrument playing cats. INSTRUMENT PLAYING CATS! CATS PLAYING INSTRUMENTS! There’s one tinkering the ivories, one appears to be quite the competent cellist and obviously I am all about that tabby playing the accordion. Best print ever? Adorable.

But then again how incredible is this 50’s diner inspired frock from Voodoo Vixen? There’s a lot going on and it’s all so much fun! Just look at those jiving couples! They are simply having the best time ever and the jukeboxes, musical notes and, errrm, burgers all help to create quite the spectacular (and super colourful) print.

I’ll stop rabbiting on in a minute but first I have to tell you how hopping mad I am about this bunny print dress from Poppy England! As well as being covered in adorable white rabbits, this dress is in such a fabulous shade of mustard AND it has a massive bow! Tripple win!

I almost didn’t see the dress for the trees! The colours of this Emily and Fin dress are just stunning and make me long for wintery days so that I can stomp around the woods in it whilst sporting my big girl boots and woolly tights. I’m also quite obsessed with those sleeves! Dreamy.

I really don’t know when and where I can get away with wearing this chiffon ASOS dress but by golly I would like to find an occasion. Obviously the colour is to die for but there’s also so much beautiful lace detailing in those sheer sections! Oh to be brave enough…

Last but not least is this little corker from ASOS! I actually bought this dress back in July as a last minute ‘I don’t know what to wear on my birthday’ panic buy. It turned out to be an excellent decision as, despite not being my usual fit and flare kinda style, I’ve received no end of compliments each time I have worn it. It is possibly the most sparkly dress on the planet so if you like the idea of being a human disco ball, this is the dress for you.
