Whilst at London Fashion Week, we were lucky enough to attend a few of the shows! This was a new experience for us but we very quickly got swept up in the atmosphere and just loved every minute of it.
Thai-British designer, Ong-Oaj Pairam was one of the shows we attended at Freemasons Hall as part of Fashion Scout. Despite not being familiar with his work, we soon fell in love with his his signature prints, soft feminine tailoring and especially his use of metallic heels with beehive hair! Yum!
The dramatic show was one of the only runway shows we attended in which designs were presented for both women and men. So it was a nice novelty to see a few male models. Especially males models in such glorious yellow coats! Speaking of which, we are totally smitten with the ladies bright yellow button up coat seen above, and after much discussion have decided to award it our most loved piece of the Ong-Oaj Pairam collection.
The collection also consisted of beautiful floaty dresses, long statement coats to see us through till spring and several two pieces – an item we’ve both been inspired to invest in post London Fashion Week, dahhhling.
Overall, it was a great show and, much to our surprise, we could definitely envisage a number of the pieces in the She and Hem wardrobe! There were just so many great prints on offer and we loved his subtle nod to the 1950s.
